The Thrill of Fly Boarding

Ever heard of the extreme sport fly boarding? I first saw this interesting sport posted on snap chat from Dubai and I have been researching this ever since.

In lay man terms, a fly board is a roller skate fitted with a large hose at one end and a jet ski at the other. The hose sucks water through the end connected to the jet ski, then spits it out with great force from the other end attached to the "skates", causing the wearer to fly out of the water at high speed. It has hand nozzles which are used to ensure stabilization, mostly for beginners.

Technically,  it is an accessory that attaches to a PWC (Personal Watercraft) and gives the Fly board propulsion through air and water. 90% of the propulsion is routed through the primary nozzle that attaches to the feet of the Fly board user.

It is so new that most of the tricks have yet to be named.

These airborne daredevils soar through the air with only the most tenuous of tethers tying them to earth.

Flyboard is an activity anyone can learn and only taking 5 to 10 minutes. Having the Fly board,  strapped to your feet allows you to go up to heights of 30 feet in the air and dive under the water an shoot straight out again just like Superman or a Dolphin!

I definitely want to go fly boarding! I gather Dubai is a great destination to vocation whilst fly boarding. See you there!
