INSTAGRAM 101 - TIPS

Following the rise of mobile telephony, social media and internet data "thievery" by service providers, countless people are overwhelmed with selecting relevant social network platforms to subscribe to. And at the same time, staying vigilant to service messages like, "Dear valued customer, you have exhausted 90% of your internet data".

As such, I thought I'd share my top tips to having a thrilling Instagram experience and possibly help make Instagram one of the top social media apps you subscribe to. 

Use Less Data 
Minimize how much data you expend whilst "Instagraming" by the simple tap of a button. Turning on this feature is a great idea for people not particularly interested in watching "unnecessary" videos, as Instagram slows down the rate of opening up images and videos, buying you time to scroll past.
Turn on this feature at the settings tab of your personal profile.

Posts You've Liked
Cast your mind back to that breath-taking image of an Agama Lizard you liked three days ago, but can't remember the name of the page? No worries; madam-know-it-all to the rescue!
Go to settings, scroll down to "Posts you've liked", Enjoy now and thank me later😉.

Rewind, Forward Or Pause A Video
Remember that trick in that 10 seconds video you keep missing? What do you say we trick the magician som? Just tap and hold anywhere in the video and wait for a vibration. Hold still to pause or slide your fingers forward or backwards to suit your needs.

Posts Your Crush/Mentor Is Engaging With
If you have been crushing on and sliding into "Potential Bae's" DM with no luck, how about "researching on😐" (not stalking) what posts (s)he have been liking and commenting on, then impress him/her with it😎.
In your notifications window, (window with heart shape), tap on "following" at the top left of your screen and voila!

Add Location To Your Stories

Anytime you post on your Instagram stories, (that thing at the top of your Instagram page that acts like Snapchat. P.S: If you do not know Snapchat by now, please go back to the planet Pluto), remember to add location, eg, Accra, Lagos, Bradford or where ever you find yourself. Your video gets added to a huge platform via the location granting your story more views and follows.



Read Comments And Tag A "Tag Buddy"
The delight of following funny pages lies in having someone I call a tag-buddy, (that person(s) with whom you share a common sense of humor) to share with.
Even better, take a moment to go through the comments and discover just how crazy and messed up people could be.
